Is CBD Hemp Flower legal?
Yes! All of our hemp flower contains less than 0.3% of delta-9 THC, which makes it federally legal per the 2018 Farm Bill.
Why is “total THC” less than 0.3%?
The 2018 Farm Bill defines “hemp” as, in part, “acids, […] with a delta-9 (Δ9) tetrahydrocannabinol [(“THC”)] concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.” Some states, like Oregon, require measurement of all acidic cannabinoids (“THCA”) in addition to Δ9 as the state and FDA further refine their guidance to businesses and consumers. Total Δ9-THC content is the legal standard in every state that we ship to.
Are your products tested?
